First and foremost, the Baofeng UV-5RX3 is a tri-band radio which focused specifically on the amateur band frequencies of the 1.25M band during design, supporting both wide and narrowband with 2.5 kHz steps. With the classic 5R Plus design, it is compatible with all the accessories of 5R series, such as programming cable, speaker, earpiece, 3800mAh battery, etc.
